Job Description

$15/hr Full Time & part time - Day or Evening available, every other weekend Aventura at the Bay is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate dietary aide to join our team and ensure the highest level of quality meal service and customer satisfaction for our residents and patients.
UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting in the preparation and service of meals Preparing/Setting-up meals trays according to tray tickets and ensuring diet orders, restrictions, and preferences are honored Maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of kitchens, equipment, dishes, work areas and dining rooms
QUALIFICATIONS
Working knowledge of sanitary practices relating to food handling Ability to pass a level II background check
NECESSARY SKILLS & QUALITIES
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Well-groomed, professional and must be a team player who works well with others Strong attention to detail as well as excellent time management skills Ability to read, speak and understand English, and follow diet orders and work assignments Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift/move items up to 20 lbs. Patience, understanding and compassion as well as the ability to interact positively with residents, patients, guests and fellow team members
