Job Summary Join our dedicated dietary team as a Kitchen Aide, where your enthusiasm and commitment will help create a warm, welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. In this vital role, you will assist with food preparation, service, and sanitation tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our culinary services. Your efforts will directly contribute to providing nutritious, delicious meals in a safe and clean setting, supporting the health and happiness of those we serve. Responsibilities Assist with food production and meal preparation according to established recipes and dietary guidelines Support food handling, serving, and bussing to ensure timely delivery of meals to residents or patients Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas, including cleaning dishes, utensils, counters, and equipment Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients Help with general kitchen duties such as organizing supplies, stocking stations, and disposing of waste properly Support dietary department operations by assisting with dietary accommodations and special meal requests Contribute to a safe environment by adhering to sanitation procedures and participating in routine cleaning schedules Requirements Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices is highly desirable Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail Basic understanding of food preparation, cooking, and meal service procedures Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with residents or patients when needed Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting or bending as required Join us as a Kitchen Aide and become an essential part of delivering nourishing meals that bring comfort and joy. Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
