Job Summary Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Aide, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. In this vital role, you will assist with meal service, food preparation, sanitation, and ensuring a safe and welcoming dining environment. Your positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service will help create a comfortable and nourishing experience for all residents and guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in healthcare or assisted living settings. Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines, ensuring proper portioning and presentation Assist with food handling, sanitation, cleaning, and maintaining a hygienic kitchen environment Buss tables, clear trays, and support meal service to residents or patients in a timely manner Follow safety protocols related to food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards Support the dietary department by organizing supplies, stocking carts, and assisting with food production tasks Help with meal delivery or serving residents in dining areas while providing friendly customer service Adhere to all food handling regulations and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and dining spaces Skills Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry environments is preferred Knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation practices Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy meal times Ability to follow detailed instructions related to dietary requirements and safety standards Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Familiarity with food handling procedures, cooking basics, and kitchen safety protocols Experience in food production or culinary roles is a plus; willingness to learn new skills is essential Join us as a Dietary Aide to contribute your energy and compassion toward creating nutritious meals that brighten our residents' days.
