This role is essential in supporting the healing process and creating a welcoming dining experience within our hospital. Sarah D. Culbertson Memorial Hospital, located in Rushville, IL, is a Critical Access Hospital. JOB SUMMARY
Prepare and serve meals for patients, staff, and special events with care and attention to quality Follow recipes and specific diet plans to meet individual nutritional needs Create fresh salads Prepare and plate desserts that brighten our patients' days Portion, plate, and serve meals Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen, dining, and storage area Check in and store food deliveries efficiently Assist with other kitchen duties and special projects as needed Day cook position, every other weekend Regulatory/Educational Requirements to
Qualify:
Food handler's certification, if no certification then you must get one within the first 30 days of employment.
High School Diploma/GED Experience/Necessary Skills:
A team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail Someone who enjoys cooking and takes pride in serving others Ability to follow recipes and special dietary guidelines accurately
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.50 per hour
