Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in providing exceptional nutritional care and support within a healthcare or assisted living environment. In this vital role, you will assist in meal preparation, food service, and sanitation duties to ensure residents receive nutritious, well-presented meals in a clean and welcoming setting. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the comfort and well-being of our residents, fostering a positive dining experience every day. Responsibilities Assist with food production and meal preparation, following established recipes and safety guidelines Serve meals to residents or patients with courtesy, professionalism, and attention to dietary restrictions Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining areas, and food handling stations Support food safety protocols by properly handling, storing, and disposing of food items Buss tables, clean dishes, and ensure all dining areas are tidy and inviting for residents Help with general kitchen duties such as cooking, portioning, and organizing supplies Collaborate with dietary staff to meet individual dietary needs and preferences of residents or patients Skills Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry settings is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform food preparation, cooking, serving, and cleaning duties with attention to detail Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude towards residents or patients Familiarity with dietary department procedures and meal service standards Basic understanding of dietetics principles related to special diets or nutritional needs Join us in making a meaningful difference through nourishing care!
