Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Aide/Cook, where you'll play a vital role in delivering nutritious, delicious meals to residents in assisted living environment. This energetic position combines food preparation, service, and sanitation to ensure a positive dining experience for our residents. Your culinary skills and commitment to food safety will help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that promotes health and well-being. Duties Prepare and assemble meals according to dietary guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Assist with food production, including chopping, portioning, and cooking ingredients to support meal service Serve residents with professionalism and friendliness, maintaining excellent customer service standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including sanitizing surfaces, washing dishes, and proper food handling practices Support sanitation efforts by cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, dining areas, and adhering to health regulations Assist with bussing tables and clearing trays during meal times to ensure smooth dining operations Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards in food handling and preparation Requirements Knowledge of food production, meal preparation, and food handling safety regulations Strong time management skills to efficiently prepare meals within scheduled times Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic culinary experience with a focus on nutritious meal preparation and sanitation practices Join us in creating a caring environment where quality nutrition meets compassionate service! Pay:
$7.50 - $9.50 per hour
