Job Description
You'll be an integral part of our team, prepping, cooking, and plating dishes with a smile. If you're a dedicated, enthusiastic, and organized individual who loves to prepare and cook delicious food in a family oriented, fun loving community setting , then you're exactly who we're looking for. Responsibilities Prepares food in accordance with the planned menu. Record accurate temperatures. Follow the cooking schedule to ensure food will be ready at specified times. Set up and operate equipment for daily food preparation. Provide clean and sanitized dishes and utensils for residents. Maintain high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene. Scrape, wash, and put away dishes. Follow proper safety protocol. Other duties assigned by the manager as needed. Qualifications Experience cooking in a facility of 50+ residents. Ability to bend, twist, stand and walk for required shifts. Must have current Safe Serv Food Handler's certification or willing to receive. Apply basic skills and may develop skills appropriate for the position. Requires knowledge of all kitchen equipment. This job is ideal for someone who is dependable & reliable, people-oriented•(enjoys interacting with people), and autonomous/independent•(enjoys working with little direction).
