DESCRIPTION
Lenawee Medical Care Facility is proud to serve senior care patients through a holistic approach. Our nursing home is set up in mini-communities that are clean, vibrant and active, exhibiting an at-home atmosphere that is personalized for each resident. We offer traditional nursing services such as therapy, hospice care, long-term care, and skilled nursing. Our rehabilitative therapy services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, along with therapeutic recreation.

We have partnered with Morrison Living who specializes in the senior dining experience. Morrison Living has taken over all hiring aspects for our dietary department, and they are looking for individuals to fill the Prep Cook and Dietary Aide positions. Requirements for Employment Food handling and cooking experience preferred Provide proof of a High School Diploma or GED Pass a Criminal Background Check, Pre-employment Physical and Drug Screen Great customer service skills Job Summary Perform daily dietary duties as assigned. Handle and prepare food and fluid in accordance with sanitary regulations to meet meal schedules and residents' requests. Interact with residents and staff in a positive manner. Adhere to safety issues as well as be accountable for compliance to Federal, State, and Local regulations within control of the homemaker. Follow menu/therapeutic diets, may grind or puree food. Take and record temperatures of food, dish machine, and refrigeration equipment. Maintain a clean work environment and equipment. Track and record food waste and stocking of pantry items. Physical Demands include ability to lift up to 40 pounds; ability to continuously walk or stand; ability to bend, squat, stoop, push and pull frequently.
