Do prep work for next day for Aides. Mixing and pouring juice; remove frozen supplement as needed and store in the refrigerator for future use. . Follow cleaning schedule as assigned by food service supervisor. . Set up trays and food service carts accurately and timely. Serve and bus trays in the dining room. . Handle and prepare food in a sanitary manner. . Follow written menus. Serves residents diets in accordance with diet orders and daily menus. . Keep work area and equipment clean and sanitize work surfaces during and after food preparation. . Understand and be able to serve therapeutic diets. . Assume responsibility for meeting meal schedules. . Assist in serving, covering and labeling foods according to menu. . Scrape and clean all dishware after each meal service and store properly in compliance with dietary policies and procedures. . Make sure residents' snacks are labeled, dated and stored in pantry refrigerator at the Nurses' Station. . Follow infection control procedures through proper handling, storage, washing, transporting and preparation of all food. . Stock and store foods in compliance with dietary policies and procedures. Qualifications • Knowledge of proper food handling and storage, and sanitation and hygiene methods of food preparation. • Willingness to take responsibility and work well in a routine job.

Pay:

From $16.00 per hour
