Full Time Dietary Aide/Cook

Dietary Cook- 5:00 am to 1:30 pm Position Summary Prepare and provide food service to residents in a cost-effective, efficient manner To safely meet the residents' needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Qualifications Ability to read, speak, write, and follow oral and written instructions. Knowledge of food preparation; proper handling and storage, sanitation, and hygiene methods of food preparation. Knowledge of arithmetic and units of measurements used in food preparation. Previous experience in an institutional setting helpful but not necessary. Morningside Center is licensed by the State of Missouri and certified by the Department of Health and Senior Service. The Department of Health and Senior Services surveys the facilities yearly for compliance of federal and state regulations. The nursing home provides both skilled nursing services and long-term care services. The nursing home participates in the Medicaid and Medicare programs. The assisted living apartments are individual apartments under one roof. Each apartment consists of an individual living room, bedroom, bathroom and small kitchenette. Starting pay $18.00 per hour
