We are seeking a compassionate and team-oriented Dietary Aide to join our dietary team and enhance the dining experiences of our residents. About the
Role:
As a Dietary Aide with Aspire Senior Living New Florence, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of meals to our residents, ensuring that dietary needs are met in a safe, clean, and respectful environment. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the nutritional well-being and overall quality of life of our residents.
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines and residents' preferences. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and equipment, following health and safety protocols. Engage with residents respectfully, addressing their dietary needs and preferences with a friendly attitude. Adhere to all dietary procedures, facility policies, and state/federal regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a dietary, kitchen, or food service role is a plus, especially in a long-term care or healthcare setting. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work independently. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
