Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting senior care through food and nutrition? DaySpring of Wallace is seeking an enthusiastic Dietary Aide to join our culinary team and assist in providing nutritious, high-quality meals to residents at DaySpring of Wallace. Company-paid Employee Assistance Program Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Meal Assistance:
Help prepare, portion, and serve meals to residents according to dietary plans and special requests.
Sanitation & Cleanliness:
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
Resident Support:
Provide meal assistance to residents as needed, including helping with meal setup and serving, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Food Safety:
Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices, to ensure food is safe for consumption.
Inventory Support:
Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies, checking inventory, and notifying the Dietary Manager of any shortages or supply needs.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the dietary team to ensure the kitchen and dining areas run smoothly, assisting with food prep and meal service as directed.
Resident Engagement:
Assist in fulfilling special dietary requests and ensuring residents' individual preferences and needs are met during meal times.
Qualifications:
