Perfect for high school students!
Current shifts available:
Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) 4pm-8pm Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) 7am-3pm What will you be doing:
Food Preparation:
Assist cooks by washing, peeling, chopping ingredients, and portioning food items for the daily menu.
Meal Service & Delivery:
Work on the tray line to assemble meals, deliver carts to resident floors, and serve food directly in dining rooms or resident rooms.
Diet Compliance:
Strictly follow diet cards (e.g., pureed, low-sodium, diabetic) to ensure residents receive safe and medically appropriate meals.
Sanitation & Cleaning:
Wash dishes, clean pots/pans, sanitize food preparation Must be flexible and willing to work in all areas of the food service department, including pots and pans, dish-room, starter, entrée, cold foods, beverage, food court, and nourishment positions. Assist in food preparation thickening beverages, pouring beverages, dishes, cleaning, etc., according to production pages and assignments. Complete tray line cleaning/closing report according to the assignment.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED preferred; Previous work experience in a kitchen, preferably in a long-term care facility very helpful, but not required.
Pay Range :
$17.00/hr-$21.75 /hr. Auto req ID 390BR
