Job Description

Make a Difference, One Plate at a Time The Hurlbut Nursing Home is looking for a high-energy Tray Line Dietary Aide to join our dedicated kitchen crew! In this role, you aren't just assembly-lining food—you are the final, crucial step ensuring our residents receive accurate, safe, and beautifully presented meals tailored to their dietary needs. If you love a fast-paced environment and want a job with real purpose, we want you on our team. What You'll Do (Responsibilities): Master the
Line:
Read meal tickets with precision to assemble custom resident trays according to special diet orders.
Prep & Plate:
Assist with food preparation, portioning, and plating while following standard recipes.
Deliver & Clean:
Transport meal carts to resident units, maintain a sparkling clean kitchen (including dishroom duties), and operate equipment safely. Be the
Team MVP:
Memorize menus, abbreviations, and plate appearances to keep the line moving smoothly. What You Bring to the Table (Qualifications):
Experience:
Background in food service, dietary prep, or a fast-paced assembly environment is preferred. The "Eagle Eye": Sharp attention to detail—you spot a dietary mismatch instantly.
