Dietary Aide (Full-Time & Part-Time) Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center Troy, Ohio Join Our Team and Make a Difference Every Day! Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Dietary Aides to join our dietary services team. We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. As a Dietary Aide, you will play an important role in providing quality meal service and ensuring our residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, welcoming environment. Position Summary The Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, food service, dishwashing, sanitation, and dining room operations while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with seniors and is committed to providing exceptional customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to established menus and dietary guidelines. Set up and break down dining areas before and after meals. Deliver meal trays to residents and assist with meal service as needed. Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and food storage areas. Follow food safety and infection control procedures. Assist with stocking supplies and rotating inventory. Work cooperatively with dietary staff, nursing staff, and other departments. Ensure residents receive courteous and respectful service at all times. Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or Administrator. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team. Must be reliable and maintain regular attendance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
