Certified Dietary Manager Join Our Team at Spring Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing Center We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Dietary Manager to join our team at Spring Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Dietary Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our patients while maintaining a clean and safe food service environment. About the
Role:
As a CDM at Spring Hill Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing food service operations to meet the dietary needs of our patients. Your expertise will ensure that our patients receive delicious and nutritious meals that cater to their individual dietary requirements. You will also supervise a team of dietary staff, provide training and guidance, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and direct food service operations to meet the dietary needs of patients Supervise a team of dietary staff, provide training, and guidance Maintain accurate records and reports related to food service operations, including inventory and menu planning Develop and implement menus that meet patient dietary needs and preferences Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, such as the Joint Commission and state health department Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and services Maintain a clean and safe food service environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards

Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Dietary Manager in a healthcare setting Must posess a manager approved serve safe certificate. High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in nutrition, hospitality management, or a related field preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of dietary regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and FSA How to
