In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that dietary guidelines are followed, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for food service and a desire to contribute to the well-being of others. Duties Assist in the preparation of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences. Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring proper portion control. Help maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste. Support the dietary department by organizing food supplies and assisting with inventory management. Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe food service environment. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other departments to facilitate smooth operations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' needs and preferences regarding their meals. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or dietary department is preferred but not mandatory. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and dietary practices is an asset.
