Role:

We are seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our dynamic food service team. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and adhering to therapeutic diet cards as ordered by physicians. You will work closely with our dietary team to ensure that all meals are served at the correct temperature and with a visually appealing presentation.

Responsibilities:

Follow therapeutic diet cards as ordered by physicians Ensure proper serving temperature of food and beverages Deliver meals on a timely basis Maintain the visual appeal of food and emphasize the use of garnishes Adhere to daily nourishment lists and stock nourishment stations Assist the cook in monitoring meal serving times Adhere to sanitation and storage policies and procedures Perform other duties assigned by the dining director

Specific Requirements:

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Must be able to follow oral and written communication Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of the dining service areas Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing dietary practices Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
