The Gardens at Sumter is seeking an enthusiastic Dietary Aide to join our culinary team and assist in providing nutritious, high-quality meals to residents at The Gardens at Sumter. Meal Assistance:
Help prepare, portion, and serve meals to residents according to dietary plans and special requests.Sanitation & Cleanliness:
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.Resident Support:
Provide meal assistance to residents as needed, including helping with meal setup and serving, and ensuring a positive dining experience.Food Safety:
Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food storage, handling, and sanitation practices, to ensure food is safe for consumption.Inventory Support:
Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies, checking inventory, and notifying the Dietary Manager of any shortages or supply needs.Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the dietary team to ensure the kitchen and dining areas run smoothly, assisting with food prep and meal service as directed.Resident Engagement:
Assist in fulfilling special dietary requests and ensuring residents' individual preferences and needs are met during meal times.Qualifications:
