Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Cook / Dietary Aide to join our team at Rosedale Health & Rehabilitation . This dual-role position supports our residents by preparing nutritious meals and assisting with dietary services to ensure a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.Key Responsibilities Cook Duties:
Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, recipes, and dietary requirements Ensure meals meet nutritional guidelines and resident preferences Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and work areas Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies Assist with inventory control, food storage, and temperature logsDietary Aide Duties:
Assist with meal service, tray preparation, and delivery to residents Set up and break down dining areas Ensure residents receive meals consistent with prescribed diets Assist residents as needed during meal service Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and dining areas Qualifications Previous experience in food service, healthcare, or long-term care preferred Knowledge of special diets (mechanical soft, diabetic, pureed, etc.) a plus Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Must be able to pass a background check What We Offer Competitive pay Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Stable schedule options Work Environment & Physical Requirements Fast-paced healthcare kitchen environment Prolonged standing, bending, and lifting Compliance with health department and facility regulations Apply today to join a team dedicated to providing quality care and nutrition to our residents.
