Dietary aide, part-time

In this entry-level health care position, you will help CHCC's friendly dietary team deliver food to our residents so they can receive the nutrition they need to remain strong and healthy.

Shift:

Approximately 24 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, 6:15 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Must be available to work additional days and times as needed, scheduled monthly in advance.

Wages:

$17.13-$20.99 per hour,

DOE Responsibilities:

Prepare food items and deliver food carts to designated care units. Perform detailed cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment. Assist with tray line. Assist with dishwashing. Qualifications:

Must have or be able to obtain a food handler's permit. Must be able to stand, walk and lift up to 50 pounds. Three to six months of general kitchen work experience is preferred. Experience working in a medical facility kitchen preferred.

Skills:

Have a positive working rapport with fellow staff members as well as patients and residents. Be compassionate, have great communication skills and a pleasant, professional manner. Have knowledge of kitchen equipment, including dishwasher, coffee maker, juice machine, food processor. Comply with all facility policies and procedures.
