Responsibilities Nutrition Services Manager RD A desirable opportunity exists for a highly accomplished professional to assist in the managing of the community's Care Center Food and Beverage Operations to ensure a quality dining experience. This position works closely with community F&B staff to ensure sanitation and HACCP standards in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Qualifications Other responsibilities include but is not limited to:- Completing nutritional initial, quarterly, annual and significant change reviews on residents according to federal and state guidelines.
- Reviewing monthly and weekly weights to determine those residents which have had a significant change.
- Completing nutritional reviews monthly on high risk residents (significant weight loss/ gain, pressure ulcer, hemodialysis, and tube fed).
- Assessing nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans in order to develop and implement dietary care plans and provides nutritional counseling as needed.
- Consulting with physicians and other health care personnel (Nurse Practitioners, Dialysis Dietitians, etc.
