Responsibilities Nutrition Services Manager RD A desirable opportunity exists for a highly accomplished professional to assist in the managing of the community's Care Center Food and Beverage Operations to ensure a quality dining experience. This position works closely with community F&B staff to ensure sanitation and HACCP standards in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Qualifications Other responsibilities include but is not limited to:
  • Completing nutritional initial, quarterly, annual and significant change reviews on residents according to federal and state guidelines.
  • Reviewing monthly and weekly weights to determine those residents which have had a significant change.
  • Completing nutritional reviews monthly on high risk residents (significant weight loss/ gain, pressure ulcer, hemodialysis, and tube fed).
  • Assessing nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans in order to develop and implement dietary care plans and provides nutritional counseling as needed.
  • Consulting with physicians and other health care personnel (Nurse Practitioners, Dialysis Dietitians, etc.
) to determine diet restrictions and nutritional needs of residents. Qualified applicants are required to possess a minimum 3 years of clinical nutrition experience. State certification in food service sanitation is required. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Asociation is required. Bachelor's Degree in nutrition from an accredited college or university is required. Knowledge of HACCP preferred.
