Job Description

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a part-time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide a quarterly visit to various locations in the area. Join the team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC! We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Clinical Registered Dietitian to provide vital nutritional care through quarterly on-site visits. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dietitian seeking a flexible schedule and competitive compensation.
Hours:
5-8 hours per week. One short onsite visit per week.
Schedule:
Flexible Compensation:
$45.00-50.00 per hour depending on experience
Travel Reimbursement:
Paid at the same hourly rate for time traveling to and from the facility.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments on new admissions and quarterly thereafter, with more frequent reviews as needed for high-risk residents. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans. Provide nutrition education and counseling as needed. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nutrition care services and resident outcomes as needed. Review and approve menu on a semi-annual basis to ensure it meets USDA guidelines Conduct monthly kitchen sanitation audits, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Perform other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice as needed. Adheres to all facility policy and procedure
Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program. Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred). Experience with reviewing menus for facilities. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Possesses the ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess objectives, develop and implement and monitor effective plans for improvement. Proficiency in providing general nutrition Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations RD Nutrition Consultants, LLC is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Consulting firm that provides Dietitians to health care facilities throughout the United States.
