San Diego Post-Acute Center is looking for a Registered Dietitian to join our Team!
The Company:
San Diego Post-Acute is a short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in El Cajon, CA. We are dedicated to providing personalized rehabilitation and nursing services to all who enter our doors. Salary:
$80,000.00•$95,000.00 annually; Depending on experience
Shift Times:
Full•Time, Monday•Friday; some weekends
Qualifications:
Have a Registered Dietician credential or a State certification to allow the individual to work as a Certified Dietician Must possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university
Preferred:
experience working in a skilled nursing/long-term care facility
Responsibilities:
Conduct nutritional assessments for all residents upon admission, quarterly and annually Assess for malnutrition and malnutrition risk for reimbursement Complete care plans, MDS assessments and weight variance notes Work in collaboration with the Director of Nutrition and Food Services to ensure dietary staff are working in compliance with state and federal regulations Conduct test trays/tray line audits Document within PCC and follow HIPAA guidelines Provide education and strategies for weight management Work collaboratively with the IDT to provide patient centered care
