Job Description

The Healthy Teen Project ("HTP") is a PHP/IOP Program treating adolescents and transitional age youth with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. As a Part-Time Dietitian, you would be working within a cohesive, multidisciplinary team environment in which we value seasoned and exemplary clinical care, collaboration, and adherence to strong ethical values.
Note:
This is a part-time role in our Los Altos location 2 days per week between Monday and Thursday (6-8 hours/day between 10a and 6p) with the potential to help fill in coverage in our San Francisco clinic, if needed.
Responsibilities:
Create individualized meal plans for adolescents Participate in meals and snacks to support meal plan and constructive behaviors Lead specialized group activities around diet and nutrition Support treatment planning, utilization review, and discharge planning Coordinate and communicate regularly with parents Collaborate with other providers in the community as needed Timely maintenance of clinical documentation in accordance with HTP policy Meet regularly with HTP treatment team for discussion regarding clients' cases and progress
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or other relevant major and completion of didactic program in dietetics Relevant RD experience preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply Passionate about working with adolescents and their families Energetic, motivated, compassionate, personable, hard­working, and reliable Excellent verbal and written communication skills with patients and staff from diverse cultural, educational, and ethnic backgrounds Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary team in an intensive (PHP/IOP) clinical setting Computer literacy (eg Outlook, Word, EMR) Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred
Licensures/Certifications:
Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required Demonstration of relevant continuing education in accordance with requirements of CDR licensure Please submit a cover letter along with your resume.
