Oversee daily food production operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency in meal preparation in accordance with health regulation policy and food service health code compliance. Conduct regular patient assessments related to dietary needs, collaborating with healthcare professionals to tailor care plans that support recovery and wellness. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) related to dietary services, documenting patient nutrition status, care plans, and progress in compliance with healthcare regulations. Monitor budgets meticulously to control costs without compromising quality or safety; manage inventory levels and procurement processes effectively. Ensure all food service activities adhere to state and federal health regulation policies, including food safety management protocols and food service health code compliance. Skills Extensive assisted living experience with a strong understanding of patient assessment and specialized dietary requirements. Proven management skills with experience managing food service teams in healthcare or acute care settings. Deep knowledge of physiology, clinical nutrition, dietetics, and therapeutic diets such as tube feeding. Expertise in food safety management practices and health regulation policy knowledge to ensure compliance across all operations. Strong leadership abilities with a track record of supervising staff effectively while fostering a positive team environment. Proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR) systems such as EMR/EHR platforms for accurate documentation of care plans. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and educate staff on best practices in nutrition and food safety management.
