Job Description

The Yuma District Hospital is recruiting a Registered Dietician or Registered Dietician Nutritionist. This is a part or full -time job with part or full-time benefits.

Yuma District Hospital is a nonprofit critical access hospital on the northeastern plains of Colorado. We enjoy a quiet rural lifestyle, open roads, distant views, and reasonable commute to urban areas. We generally serve an agricultural community and about a 10,000-population service area. Health services include inpatient care, emergency care, two primary care clinics, a specialty medicine clinic including behavioral health, a full range of ancillary services, and home health. About 130 miles slightly north and east of the Denver metro area, Yuma provides plenty of weekend opportunities to hunt, ski or shop.
Job Duties:
Develop meal and nutrition plans Assess clients' nutritional and health needs. Counsel clients on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits. Develop meal and nutrition plans, taking clients' preferences and budgets into account. Evaluate and monitor the effects of nutrition plans and practices and make changes as needed.
