Job Description

Overview RDNC is seeking a motivated and passionate Clinical Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our team at a leading inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This role is ideal for a dietitian looking for flexibility, meaningful patient interaction, and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic interdisciplinary care team.
Schedule & Compensation Hours:
12-15 hours per week

Compensation:
$30.00 - $38.00 per hour (based on experience)
Additional Perks:
Travel time is compensated at the same hourly rate, in addition to onsite working hours Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients at nutritional risk, following facility protocols and evidence-based guidelines Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans to support recovery and optimize patient outcomes Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and families, focusing on disease management, recovery, and reducing risk of readmission Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the care team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant within the electronic medical record system Monitor patient progress through labs, weight trends, and clinical status to adjust interventions as needed Participate in quality improvement initiatives and serve as a nutrition resource for hospital staff Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration Current/active state dietitian license (or eligibility) 1-3 years of recent clinical experience in acute care or rehab hospital settings (required) Experience with enteral/parenteral nutrition strongly preferred Strong communication, critical thinking, and time-management skills Ability to work independently while thriving in an interdisciplinary team environment About
