Summary Position Highlights:
The Clinical Dietitian assesses, plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the standards of nutrition therapy and with interdisciplinary collaboration focused on the needs of the patient. In addition to providing care to patients in need of inpatient and/or outpatient services, there are opportunities to contribute to presentations, publications, supervision of students/interns and execution of departmental education efforts which will contribute to advancement in the Clinical Ladder. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have the following: At least 1 year of clinical experience ACLS Certification Master's Degree in
Nutrition Responsibilities:
Complete assessments and reassessment of assigned patients in accordance to established standards of care and practice including selecting assessment tools, tests and measures, goal setting, etc. Participate in interdisciplinary team planning and coordination of care. Participate in education in-services, presentations, etc., as needed. Accurately performs documentation on each evaluation and treatment session within the electronic medical record and accurately documents billing charges.
Credentials and Qualifications:
Current registration with CDR or RD eligible with successful registration within 12 months of hire date Florida Dietitian License within 1 month of hire date BLS Certification
