Winter Haven Hospital, [Winter Haven, FL] Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care? BayCare, a leading healthcare provider in Central Florida region is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team.Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervising the tasks associated with the Registered Dietitian. Provides clinical nutrition assessment and care for patients. Acts as a liaison between the Food Νtrition Department and Nursing Services, patients, and physicians. Develops and implements policies and procedures that facilitate the integration of the department to ensure quality care and services. Performs team member responsibilities to include interviewing, hiring, selecting, schedules, training, payroll time-keeping and performance appraisals. Works in conjunction with Manager in relation to disciplinary actions and terminations. Communicates to others a clear understanding of the service delivery system to maintain quality controls ensuring compliance with infection control and regulatory requirements thus meeting the needs to both internal and external customers. Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors - Food & Nutrition /Related Field Preferred:
Masters - Food & Nutrition / Related Field (Effective January 1, 2024, a graduate degree is required for those not initially credentialed by 12/31/23)Required:
Registered Dietitian through CDR and licensure through the State of Florida, or attainment of state licensure within 6 months of employment.Preferred:
