Job Description
Responsibilities Dietitian (PRN) Turning Point is currently seeking a licensed Dietitian for on-site PRN work that is vital to the successful operation of our behavioral health facility. The dietitian is responsible for the nutritional care, treatment, rehabilitation, and education to patients based on patient assessments of needs, conditions, impairments, disabilities, and age. Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point. In addition to the above, duties may include: Reviews and/or completes nutritional screens and assessments, formulating dietary plan with consideration of age and culturally specific nutritional needs. Orients patients to dietary goals and policies. Provides group and individual nutrition education. This position is PRN as needed, usually scheduled in advance.

Licensed by the State of Georgia Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) Two (2) years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred. Experience working with Substance Abuse/Behavioral Health patients preferred. Must work well both independently and as part of interdisciplinary team.
