Job Description

Nutrition & Diabetes Education Leader Full-Time Iowa Specialty Hospital is seeking a highly motivated, strategy-driven leader to guide and support our talented team of Registered Dietitians and Diabetes Educators. In this role, you will provide operational leadership, drive programmatic growth, and align department goals with our organization's core mission. The ideal candidate will deeply understand the financial landscape of nutrition and diabetes services, championing reimbursement strategies while maintaining our exceptional standards of patient care. As a collaborative leader, you will streamline workflows, analyze current processes, and build cross-departmental partnerships to maximize patient access and promote these critical services. This role will be highly invested in process optimization, financial stewardship, quality and compliance, and strategic growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Current license/registration in healthcare-related field (Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, Registered Nurse, etc.) Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of dietitian and diabetes education workflows and regulatory standards Experience with/understanding of financial management, healthcare billing, and quality improvement Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills
