Job Summary:
Countryside Mental Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to join our team. As a CDM, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food services, while also promoting a positive and nurturing environment for our patients. Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and cook meals and snacks for patients, adhering to dietary restrictions and specifications Manage food inventory, ordering and receiving supplies as needed Develop and implement menus that meet patient needs and preferences Conduct food safety and sanitation inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards Supervise and train dietary staff, including interns and students Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes
Requirements:
Must be certified as a Dietary Manager (CDM) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in nutrition or related field preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a healthcare setting Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
