Registered Dietician Job Summary:

Responsible for providing services to include, but not limited to: complete nutritional assessments, provide quarterly kitchen inspections, perform menu spreading, and assist with menus as requested. Services are provided to the following programs in a seven county area: RVBH Hospital, Crisis Stabilization Unit, Psychiatric Residential Treat Facilities (2), Residential Chemical Dependency Program, Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program, Strategic Partnerships Residential Program, and Henderson and IL II (Beaver Dam) Group Homes, and NM Solutions..

Essential Functions:

Assesses nutritional needs of new admissions and long-term clients, as indicated. Inspects kitchen and food storage area. Provides input into food preparation, service, and storage to assure that federal and state guidelines are being met. Performs menu reviews and spreading of menus. In-services of current employees, as well as new hires. Communicates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff regarding the nutritional needs of patients. Fosters collaborative working relationships among members of the leadership and management teams and programs. Other duties as assigned.
