Job Description

Job Overview We are looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate and experienced dietitian to join our team of professionals in an Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment clinic. Ideal candidate will have experience working with clients with substance use disorder/addiction, mental health, eating disorders. Duties As a member of the SUD treatment team, the registered dietitian will: Develop and facilitate psychoeducation group nutrition sessions, promoting the importance of nutrition to improve physical and mental health and recovery from substance use. Facilitate individual nutrition consults as needed. Support client-identified nutrition-related goals. Collaborate with therapists, primary counselors, and nurses to integrate nutrition goals into holistic treatment and discharge plans. Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record (Alleva).
Requirements:
Valid Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of MN Master's degree preferred (nutrition, public health, psychology etc.) Strong communication, behavioral management, and the ability to work in complex, fast-paced clinical setting. Desire to lead nutrtion focused psychoeducation groups. Strong computer and data entry skills. Willingness to continue training and research to keep current on the latest discoveries and developments in the field. Compassion and genuine interest in helping clients with addiction, mental health and/or eating disorders develop better lifestyle habits.
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
