Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in clinical nutrition, with experience in patient assessment, care planning, and dietary management across diverse settings. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, you will play a vital role in developing personalized nutrition strategies, providing expert guidance, and supporting patient health outcomes through evidence-based practices. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals' well-being while working within a collaborative healthcare environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional status and identify specific dietary needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans that incorporate medical diagnoses, physiology knowledge, and nutritional requirements. Provide expert guidance on nutrition-related issues such as weight management, tube feeding, and long-term care nutrition strategies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes in acute care, geriatrics, and hospital settings. Offer health coaching to empower patients with sustainable lifestyle modifications and nutritional education. Supervise dietetic staff and oversee dietary department operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems efficiently for documentation, diagnostic evaluation, and progress tracking. Stay current with advancements in dietetics, physiology, and clinical research to inform practice and improve service quality. Skills Extensive knowledge of physiology, nutrition science, and dietetics principles applicable to diverse populations. Proven experience supervising dietetic teams and managing dietary services within healthcare facilities. Strong expertise in patient assessment techniques, care plan development, and diagnostic evaluation processes. Proficiency in managing tube feeding protocols and specialized nutrition support methods. Experience with weight loss programs, dietary interventions for geriatrics, and long-term care nutrition management. Familiarity with EMR systems for accurate documentation and communication across multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
