Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center in Farmington, MO This job is open to Registered Dietitians, but that licensure is not required. Please see the two types of qualifications below.
Salary for this position:
Registered Dietitian = $76,331.84 Non Licensed $72,000 Responsibilities
  • What you'll do Serve as the Dietary Director over food service operations and clinical nutrition.
Provides daily overall leadership, management and coordination of dietary services. Ensure reliable completion of key Dietary processes, particularly food production and patient meal service. Ensure there are sufficient supplies and equipment for Dietary Staff to complete their job duties, as well as necessary supplies for patient meal service. Maintain knowledge of CBORD NetMenu and Selective Dining Software Maintain knowledge of Oracle Electronic Health Record (CHARTe) Monitor tray line production and meal service periodically with accuracy checks on regular and special diets Observe staff compliance with policy/procedure of sanitation and meal service Provide assistance to Dietary staff with instruction and correction of processes as necessary. This includes policies on food preparation, storage, sanitation and safety Ensure equipment is in proper working order and repairs or replacements are done in a timely manner Maintains an up-to-date procedure manual, onboarding materials and in-service training materials Additional Primary Responsibilities for a
Registered Dietitian:
Supervise the Dietitian Supervisor and oversee clinical nutritional care Serve as a resource for trainings, in-services and policy implementation and monitoring Resolve client complaints and grievances related to clinical nutritional services Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, 5
  • 7 years of relevant experience, and 2
  • 4 years of supervisory experience. (Substitutions may be allowed Qualifications for Registered Dietitian (RD): Current Missouri Licensure (LD), 3
  • 5 years of experience as an RD, 5
  • 7 years of relevant experience, and 2
