Overview The Clinical Nutrition Specialist I provides comprehensive, quality nutrition care to a defined patient population in an efficient, timely and caring manner. Responsibilities include nutrition assessment of patients that are at nutritional risk; development, implementation, and on-going evaluation of a nutrition care plan; education of patients and families with consideration for individual needs with follow-up information to referring physician. The Clinical Nutrition Specialist I is also involved in education of students, hospital staff and the community.
