What We Offer Now Hiring:
PRN Registered Dietitian - Novant Health Novant Health is seeking a flexible and patient-focused PRN Registered Dietitian to support nutrition services across multiple facilities in southeastern North Carolina. This role may provide both remote and in-person coverage based on departmental needs.
Coverage areas include:
New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHNHRMC) Scott's Hill Medical Center Pender Memorial Medical Center Brunswick Medical Center New Hanover Ortho Medical Center This PRN opportunity is ideal for a dietitian who enjoys variety, collaboration, and the ability to work across diverse patient populations and care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform nutrition assessments and follow-up evaluations Provide medical nutrition therapy and patient education Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Document nutrition interventions in the electronic medical record Support inpatient clinical nutrition operations as needed

What We're Looking For Education :
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelors in dietetics, nutrition, foods and nutrition. Graduate Degree, preferred.
Experience :
Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Clinical Dietitian, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Registered Dietitian status by the commission on Dietetic Registration, required. Licensed Dietitian in appropriate state, required. Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Knowledge, ability and skills to support patient education and patient engagement in self-care management to accommodate cultural diversity, age specific or behavior needs among the patients being served. Additional Skills (preferred): Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to relay information to diverse audiences for one-on-one consultations, small and large group presentations; dynamic presence for media interviews, health fairs and other invited presentations/appearances.
