A Dietitian or Nutritionist provides clients with advice on healthy eating, and helps to plan nutritional menus. Works with individuals who have specific dietary needs, such as hospital patients, or oversees food programs in schools, hospitals, and other large organizations. May work in a community setting or non-profit, governmental, or public health organization, offering nutritional advice to specific groups of people.
The Executive Health and Sports Center is looking for a motivated, energetic dietician to join our Wellness team. This is a part-time position that includes both a competitive hourly rate and commission on delivery of services. The RD's purpose is to produce outcome-based results, including but not limited to contributing to the department's bottom line profit through insurance reimbursement, delivery of services, and customer service related to nutrition programing as it relates to the businesses wellness practices. This position is also responsible for working with our selected billing company and or insurance providers, developing and maintaining a business relationship with those providers, as well as implementing an insurance reimbursement practice for our wellness programs, including our signature 90 Day HealthyCare program.
REGISTERED DIETICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES
Budgeting and accounting for billable events, conducting client assessments, providing biometric education, providing nutritional counseling both 1-on-1 and group settings, establishing client goals, contributing to high quality and specialized wellness program development and delivery, develop meal plans for clients and use the GENAVIX portal, attend on-site and local community health fairs and events, promote nutrition through public speaking and community outreach programs, oversee insurance reimbursement, maintain an active provider ID, represent the company within the Genavix Wellness Network, keep informed of the latest research in nutritional and food sciences.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires computer work, and the ability to deliver both one on one and group services. It also requires the ability to work nights and weekends depending on the business' needs. This is a part time position.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of an RD license Preferred business background and or acumen Preferred (1) year in delivering RD services and or related internships.
