Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence , the Registered Dietitian plays a key role in ensuring residents receive individualized, safe, and medically appropriate nutrition care that supports their health goals and quality of life. Responsibilities for
Registered Dietitian:
Assist food service staff in developing and implementing departmental procedures related to food service operations, equipment, and supplies. Review and develop corrective action plans for any food service deficiencies identified during state or federal surveys, and submit recommendations to the Administrator for approval. Maintain and monitor an ongoing quality assurance program for the Food Services Department. Review residents' dietary requirements and restrictions in accordance with physician-ordered diet plans. Assist in developing individualized nutrition care plans, including regular and specialized diets based on clinical needs. Support the Discharge Planning Coordinator in developing appropriate nutrition components of resident discharge plans. Monitor resident nutritional status and recommend adjustments to diet plans as needed to support optimal health outcomes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure nutrition care aligns with overall treatment goals. Qualifications for
Registered Dietitian:
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field required. Current Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred. Strong expertise in clinical nutrition, preferably within geriatric, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings. Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing healthcare and nutritional services in skilled nursing environments. Our Core Values in Action Passion
