Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert nutritional guidance, develop personalized care plans, and support patients across various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics. Your expertise will empower individuals to achieve their health goals through evidence-based nutrition strategies, motivational interviewing, and comprehensive assessments. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate nutritional status, medical history, and dietary needs using electronic health records (EHR) systems. Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans tailored to patients with chronic diseases, geriatrics, or recovering from acute illnesses. Provide expert guidance on clinical nutrition topics such as tube feeding, weight management, and dietary modifications for specific conditions. Deliver health coaching sessions that motivate behavioral change and promote long-term wellness through motivational interviewing techniques. Supervise and mentor dietetic interns or junior staff members while ensuring adherence to hospital policies and care standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including physicians, nurses, and therapists—to optimize patient care and recovery outcomes. Educate patients on nutrition principles related to weight loss, chronic disease management, geriatrics, and hospital-based nutritional support strategies. Manage dietary department operations by overseeing meal planning, dietary documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards. Experience Proven experience as a Registered Dietitian in clinical settings such as hospitals or long-term care facilities. Demonstrated knowledge of physiology related to digestion, metabolism, and disease processes affecting nutrition. Supervising experience in a healthcare environment is highly preferred. Hands-on experience with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and care coordination. Familiarity with specialized nutritional interventions including tube feeding and diagnostic evaluation of nutritional needs. Strong background in clinical nutrition practices for geriatrics, acute care patients, and those managing chronic conditions like weight loss or diabetes. Knowledge of dietary regulations within hospital or healthcare settings combined with excellent patient assessment skills.
