Dietitian Axia Care Center Orange, NJ Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) Axia Care Center - Orange, New Jersey Position Summary Axia Care Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary team. The Dietitian will oversee residents' nutritional care, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Nursing, Dietary, Rehabilitation, and Medical staff to support positive clinical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Complete initial, annual, quarterly, and significant-change nutritional assessments. Develop and update individualized nutrition care plans. Monitor residents at risk for weight loss, dehydration, wounds, swallowing concerns, and other nutritional complications. Review laboratory results, meal intake, weights, supplements, and physician orders. Participate in care-plan meetings, weight-management meetings, and interdisciplinary clinical reviews. Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff. Make recommendations regarding therapeutic diets, supplements, tube feeding, and other nutrition interventions. Complete all required documentation accurately and within established timeframes. Collaborate with the Food Service Director to ensure menus meet residents' clinical, cultural, and personal needs. Support survey readiness and compliance with federal, state, and facility standards. Monitor food-service operations, sanitation, meal quality, and resident satisfaction. Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives as assigned. Qualifications Current Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required. Bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field required. Minimum of one year of dietitian experience preferred. Long-term care, skilled nursing, subacute, or ventilator-care experience strongly preferred. Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of federal and state long-term-care regulations. Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. What We Offer Competitive compensation.
