Registered Dietitian

Registered Dietitian (RD) Part-Time Cornerstone Day School is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian. As a Registered Dietician at Cornerstone Day School, you will play a crucial role in our expanding Eating Disorder Program. You will be providing nutritional education to our students who have been diagnosed with an eating disorder. Join our treatment team as we grow this new program in our middle and high school. Cornerstone Day School is a unique therapeutic special education school for students with significant emotional problems that integrates state of the art psychiatric treatment with outstanding academics. You will work with a highly seasoned and professional management team that provides the best possible clinical and educational services.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Meeting with assigned students on a regular basis to provide nutrition education, as well as implement and manage individualized dietary meal plans. Conducting Dietary Intake during eating disorder assessment/evaluation. Facilitating Nutrition Groups that are appropriate to the student population. Collaborating with the Director of Eating Disorder Program and the treatment team to ensure the best standard of nutrition and dietary services. Facilitating family sessions and education. Communicating with CDS psychiatrist or outpatient medical doctor as needed. Participating in treatment plan meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition Licensed registered dietitian required. Two years' experience in dietary education and management preferred.
