Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our interdisciplinary team in a large skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. This position plays a vital role in supporting resident health, nutritional outcomes, regulatory compliance, and quality of care. Responsibilities
  • Complete nutrition assessments, MDS-related documentation, and care planning
  • Monitor residents for weight changes, nutritional risk, wounds, hydration concerns, and therapeutic diet needs
  • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, speech, physicians, and dietary services
  • Provide oversight of meal services and menu compliance
  • Participate in QA/QAPI and survey preparedness activities
  • Review tube feeding, supplement, renal, diabetic, and texture-modified diet needs
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition-related concerns
  • Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and facility dietary regulations Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required
  • Nevada licensure/certification eligible preferred
  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of CMS regulations, MDS, and nutrition documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
