- The Role at a glance:
- We are looking to add an experienced registered dietitian to our healthcare team in Cortlandt Manor.
- What you'll be doing:
- + Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
- What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
+ Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility. + Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process. + Licensed or certified, per state requirements. + Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents' rights. + Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.Nice-to-haves:
+ Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field. + Experience working in healthcare or long-term care.- Where you'll be working:
