Registered Dietitian (RD) - Part Time
NOW OFFERING DAILY PAY
Are you a Registered Dietitian (RD) ready to impact the life of patients in a Long Term Care and Rehab facility? The Enclave at Port Chester is seeking a Part Time Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic team. This facility is looking for a hard working and energized Registered Dietitian (RD) to help manage the nutrition needs of their short term, long term, Palliative Care and feeding tube residents while proudly serving their diverse community health-care needs. Registered Dietitian (RD) Reporting to the Director of Clinical Nutrition the successful candidate will: Assess the nutritional needs of residents by completing the necessary clinical nutritional assessments Providing nutrition counseling and education for residents and family Working with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal care is provided to all residents Be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process Possess the ability to creatively problem solve and work independently with minimal supervision Efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient care responsibilities Rotating holidays and weekend work required Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have: Have excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of individuals and groups (physicians, nursing, ancillary staff, residents and family members) Strong verbal, written and communication skills Strong time management skills, be a self-starter and a team player Registered Dietitian (RD)
Requirements:
Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Eligible (with DI Verification Statement) Comfortable with enteral nutrition Strong oral and written communication skills Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations a plus
Pay Rate:
Up to $50.00 an hour (Based on Experience) an Equal Opportunity Employer. #boost
