  • Full-time Cassena Care is seeking a Registered Dietitian for one of our skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Provides nutritional care for residents in accordance with the facility policies and procedures and as consistent with guidelines developed by the New York State Department of Health, and Federal governing bodies of long-term care facilities Assesses nutrition needs and identifies nutrient requirements according to specific needs of residents Accurately and appropriately determines the nutritional status of residents through completion of nutritional assessments Assesses the adequacy of calorie, macro-nutrient, and fluid intake Collaborates with the resident and/or family member, and health care team to assess nutrition and nutrition education needs of patients Identifies need for nutrition supplementation for residents Continuously monitors and evaluates the nutrition care and outcomes of residents Qualifications of a
Registered Dietitian:
Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related degree.
