PTO QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Dietitian Must possess, at a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Must be a current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) in good standing in the State of NY. Must maintain any required state licensure or certification in accordance with applicable regulations.
POSITION SUMMARY
- Registered Dietitian The Registered Dietitian is responsible for overseeing the clinical nutrition aspects of resident care and supporting the operations of the Dietary Department. In collaboration with the Food Service Director, this role ensures that nutrition services are planned, organized, and delivered in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies. The Registered Dietitian provides nutrition assessments, develops and monitors care plans, and helps promote the health and well-being of residents through appropriate dietary practices.
