Job Description
The University of Cincinnati seeks a Dietitian to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in a patient-centered, research-informed environment. This role provides evidence-based medical nutrition therapy, conducts comprehensive assessments, and develops individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The Dietitian will educate patients and families, document in the EHR, and support nutrition-related research and quality improvement. Responsibilities Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients in alignment with evidence-based guidelines. Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients, families, and staff on nutrition, special diets, and health promotion. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record. Support research initiatives by integrating nutrition protocols into clinical studies. Analyze nutrition-related data and contribute to quality improvement projects. Precept students or interns and participate in professional development activities.
